GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ALL PROGRAMS

  1. Registration: All participants must complete the registration process, providing accurate and up-to-date information.
  2. Age Eligibility: Players must meet the age requirements specified for their respective age divisions. Proof of age may be required.
  3. Code of Conduct: Participants, including players, coaches, parents, and spectators, must adhere to a code of conduct promoting respect, sportsmanship, and fair play at all times.
  4. Team Assignments: Players will be assigned to teams based on age, skill level, and other relevant factors at the discretion of the league organizers.
  5. Game Schedule: The league will provide a schedule of games, including dates, times, and locations. Changes to the schedule may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and participants will be notified promptly.
  6. Uniforms: All players must wear the designated league uniform during games. Uniforms may include jerseys, shorts, socks, and any additional equipment required for safety.
  7. Safety Equipment: Players must wear appropriate safety equipment, such as shin guards, during games and practices.
  8. Insurance: Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage for injuries sustained during league activities. The league may provide limited insurance coverage, but it is not comprehensive.
  9. Parental Involvement: Parents/guardians are encouraged to support their children positively and participate constructively in league activities. They should refrain from disruptive behavior or interference with coaches, referees, or other participants.
  10. Referee Decisions: Referees’ decisions during games are final and binding. Disputes or complaints regarding officiating should be addressed through appropriate channels established by the league.
  11. Player Development: The league aims to promote the development of players’ skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship through structured practices and games.
  12. Equal Opportunities: The league is committed to providing equal opportunities for all participants regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or socio-economic background.
  13. Communication: Important league information, updates, and announcements will be communicated via email, website, or other designated channels. Participants are responsible for staying informed.
  14. Weather Policy: Games may be canceled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or other safety concerns. Decisions regarding cancellations will be made by league officials and communicated as soon as possible.
  15. Parental Consent: Parents/guardians must provide consent for their child’s participation in league activities, including travel for away games or tournaments.
  16. Disciplinary Action: The league reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, against participants who violate league rules or engage in misconduct.
  17. Volunteerism: The league relies on volunteers for various roles, including coaching, officiating, and administrative tasks. Participants are encouraged to contribute their time and skills to support the league’s operations.
  18. Financial Obligations: Participants may be required to pay registration fees, uniform costs, or other expenses associated with league participation. Financial assistance may be available for families in need.
  19. No Refunds: Once the season commences, no refunds will be provided for registration fees or other expenses, regardless of the circumstances leading to a participant’s withdrawal from the league. This policy ensures equitable treatment for all participants and supports the financial stability of the league’s operations. Participants are encouraged to consider their commitment to the league carefully before the start of the season.  Under exceptional circumstances where a refund is provided after the season has commenced, a $50 administrative fee per child will be deducted.
  20. Termination of Participation: The league reserves the right to terminate a participant’s involvement in league activities for reasons such as repeated violations of rules, misconduct, or failure to meet financial obligations.
  21. Amendment of Terms: These terms and conditions are subject to change at the discretion of the league organizers. Participants will be notified of any amendments in a timely manner.

 

By participating in the Kids Soccer League, all players, coaches, parents, and volunteers agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action or termination of participation.
